From what I understand, our head pastor knows where she and the children are, but he hasn't told us. We took up offerings at all of our campuses and have so far over $13K for the war relief. Our head pastor has taken money and huge bags of rice to the churches and area that were affected. They have called it "Operation Blessings". I will try to attach some pictures, if I can get them from the email (not too good at this computer stuff).
We did find out that one of the elders in another of our Filipino churches was shot and killed Sunday, but just by a stray bullet in the fighting. I guess it's very rough over there right now.

I just got this picture of Elisabeth - the widow of the pastor in the Philippines. Our head pastor is giving her a check from the money that we took up to help in the war relief. She does not look injured in the picture, so I assume she was not seriously shot in the attack. He says she is still in hiding and still very scared for her life though. We took up over $14,000 to send to the Philippines to help in this effort they have called "Operation Blessings".

I am so blessed to read this and know someone really cares for God´s little lambs all over the world...Thank you "Operation Blessings" for being a blessing.
The Philippine people are so sweet and many live in deep poverty. I know she cannot call her husband back but I know it is such a confort to her to know someone cares.
