It was in the month of October the year was 2004 my wife and I were visiting with my folks in Maceio, Alagoas and we had come to visit with Brother and Sister Lizaragga. It was here the Lord visited me in a dream.
I dreamed I was walking down a little dirt road I knew I was in the northeast but I did not know where it was where we were walking. My wife and some of my saints were with me and we passed by a little Assembly of God church. We walked on for about 50 yards when I heard the pastor dismissing the service. Soon there was the noise of many people talking and some began to follow us and they asked if we were believers. They said you all are not from here.
In the dream it was a woman talking to me. I could tell she was a Christian.
In a few minutes the Holy Ghost prompted me to ask her if she was baptized in Jesus name. At this point I looked around and saw the faces of 3 women very plain and a multitude behind them but I could not see the other faces When I asked this question all 3 sisters began to cry and said they had never heard of baptism in Jesus name.
Then I asked them what village they were from and they said a village called aacas I said I have never heard of this village and they said we are about 50 km from Fortaleza…the next thing I saw they were weeping saying to me, please come to our village and tell us more. We know nothing about baptism in Jesus Name but you could tell us.
I woke up and looked at the clock it was 4:15 in the morning. I got up and wrote down the name of this village and a few details of my dream. I felt a holy haste to go and find these precious sisters …sleep left me. I prayed and waited for daylight to come.
The next morning I told my dad and mom about my dream…I knew it was from God I had never felt something so strong in all my life. Their faces were before me.
We began to look at maps, search the internet, ask people but no one could tell us of such a place called aracas.. ..I called some tourist agencies to see if they had ever heard of this village…the answer was no …no one knew, no one had ever heard of this place, my internet search found nothing. It was like I was up against a brick wall. I knew God had spoken to me but I could not the place of my dream. Maybe God was testing me to see if I would easily give up. I don’t know. All I know was I tried every earthly means and come up with nothing.
Once again I went to God but all was silence…yet I knew the dream was from Him but did not know what to do about it.
In December I was schedule to preach a convention in Belem do para and an idea occurred to me. I would stop a couple days in Fortaleza the capital city of Ceara and search for this place…Someone from the states told me they would pay my airfare…that was all I needed…I am just like my mom…I will sleep anywhere and eat anything! All I needed was airfare and a credit card. In real money I had less than 10 dollars in my pocket…I left my wife my church and my folks praying for me.
I would have to catch the bus to sao Paulo at 6:30 am but for some reason I overslept and had to take the 7:30 bus knowing that I had missed my plane…there was not enough time but I caught the bus anyway…after all all we do is by faith.
When I got to the airport in sao Paulo I went to the desk and told the girl look I know I missed the plane but can you get me on another one. The girl looked at me and said Sir you are lucky today…your plane is late you have plenty of time…I knew it was more than luck and right there I started weeping and speaking in tongues feeling the Holy Ghost so near me..
I got in the plane weeping and sat down after a while the girl seated next to me said, Sir is something wrong…I told her no and told her my missions…she said my father is a city councilmen as soon as we get there I will call him… It seemed to be the longest 3 hour flight of my life…however when we got there she called BUT her father said he had never heard of a place called aarcas…!
I thanked her and remembered I only had 10 dollars in my pocket.
I began to walk around the airport stopping asking people about aacas..no one knew anything…finally I saw an information desk and went there and the lady told me her name was Georgia she asked me the following questions’ Sir, do you have a telephone number of anyone from this village?
Do you know anyone there? Do you know what it is is close to….my answers were all no expect the 3 ladies I had seen in the vision…but I did not know their names
I told her my dream and I will never forget her words, she said Sir I wish god would send someone with a message for me
I told her well He has a message for you too and proceeded to tell her the plan of salvation
More hours passed by she called her friends trying to help me but none had the answer to where this little village could possibly be…I was so tired and hungry.
I decided to by a telephone card…although I hated to spend a part of my money on the card I thought well at least I can try to start making calls to find if anyone knows of this village…it cost right at 2.50 so I had 7.50 left. I called the bus station and they searched for any bus that might go through a village called aaras…
It was getting late….I decided to use my credit card to rent a car and just take off…driving…looking for this village…
I wnt to Localiza (a car rental place) and rented a car. They told me their van would take me to the area where the cars were…once again I found myself at a counter asking a girl if she had ever heard of a place called aacas. She told me no…I was so tired and weary…right there I started crying…it had been a long torturous day…the girl must have been tired she said real loud I have never heard of a place called arras…I took the car papers and the key and turned around and there stood a man…he was poorly dressed..Probably I thought he is fixing to ask me for money (Brazil has millions of beggars and especially in the northeast…all of a sudden he said I know where arras is
When he said that I literally screamed glory and began to cry again but this time the tears were of joy and relief…
I said is it on a dirt road (I had dreamed about a dirt road) he said yer
He said it is a little interior village it is very poor and he wrote down how to get there.
I walked over to the counter at the rent a car as they motioned for me to give the car documents I put the documents in my pocket and turned around to thank the little man…and he was no longer standing there…
I started crying again I knew it was not a man but an angel that had spke with me…the man at the rent a car was opening the car to check the jack and tell me all was in order noticed I was crying…he told me to be careful and not to drink and drive and wished me good luck.
It was night…I decided to rent a bed and breakfast on my credit card I was exhausted beyond words.
I was up early the next morning. Fortaleza is a big city and I got lost several times trying to get out of the city…stopping and asking taxi drivers and bus drives showing them the information the angle had given me I finally found my road… I said now Lord you know I lost a whole day trying to get the address please help me today and the Lord spoke to me in 1 km you will see a police man beside the road stop there and he will tell you the rest of the information you need…
Just like God said there was a policeman there and I stopped He told me to go to a little city called pataca s and get a dirt road and it would take me to aaraca.
All the way I drove talking in tongues and feeling so strong the presence of the Lord. I arrived in Patacas and met an old man and asked where was the Assembly of God. He said there is no Assemble of god only a Baptist mission. I just kept driving headed to the little village os aarasa. Arring in the little arraca village there was a lady on a bike in front of a tiny grocery store called mercantile and I asked her could you give me directions to the Assembly of God
She looked stage at me and said at the end of the village is a tiny Assembly of God…finally I saw the church no one was there but I clapped my hands in front of a house and a lady came out to attend me.I could tell by looking she was holiness and I told her my dream and described the ladies of my vision to her.
She looked at me strange and said one of thses ladies you are describing is my mother she is the ladies leader at our church
Right there we both began to talk in tongues…she took me to meet several sisters from the assembly and I found them all…the ones of my dream…dressed in the same clothes that I saw them…
To make a long story short I baptized them but not without persecution…my life was threatened the assembly of God pastor told lies on me however the village prostitute also a daughter of a Christian came to me and said I could have services in her house whenever I wanted too.
The 20th of May I returned once again to dream village and the night club loaned me their chairs and on May 27th I baptized 15 people in the precious shaving name of Jesus,
The door heaven opens not even hell can close!
Different ones such as my brother Missionary Arlei, Missionary Ryan, Missionary Janice and my father Bishop Raul and many Brazilians have helped us carry on this little church in the middle of nowhere.
On the 16 of October of 2007 PASTOR MILTOM E PASTORA JANE left their jobs, home, friends and family in south Brazil and have moved up here and lived the past 2 years by faith.
