2 of them engaged in a homosexual innuendo yet were very condemning of any homosexual. That is incredibly hypocritical. The attitude. The method

These are the same groups of people who have been know to tell 2 other male preachers "Oh get a room"

Apparently it's ok to lie.

What really disturbs me is, given the trend we have seen in churches, within their group there may be a man (preacher or laity) that struggles with this but keeps it secret and does not get help because of the hateful attitudes he or she is surrounded by. This same person may in fact be on the bandwagon just as Ted Haggard was.

This is what the rest of us seem to feel, that these individuals need healing and aren't getting it because there is such a stigma this kind of hateful attitude keeps intact and prevents people that suffer from something like this from ever getting help. They are always pretty much on their own.

And it's not just this, let me be clear but there are other things people keep secret for fear of being ostracized. It could be sexual sins, sexual addictions, mental health issues and substance addictions/abuse, but the fear of failure and hearing the rhetoric from their peers keep them in the closet suffering silently until it's too late

How does that work?
