Actually neither was true. He was neither a stalker nor on NH watch. He was running an errand and noticed someone acting odd.

And what about Oprah and the incident in Sweden? And the beating that Paula Dean has taken over something she said thirty years ago?

I'm beginning to think there is an organized effort to push this racial thing...our president needs to stay out of it!

He is still a Neighborhood Watch, even off duty, and has the right as a citizen, at that point, to continue watching his neighborhood.

I posted about that incident here. Apparently, the Hermes store was closed, preparing for an evening event. IMO, it was more about elitist celebrity arrogancy than it was about racism. You won't hear the news make that the point.

Yes but he was not ON Neighborhood Watch. He doesn't have to be a NH person to have that right as a citizen. We all have that right

Oprah may have really believed it was about race. That does not make it so. I was in a restaurant with a friend once. We got there kinda late and they closed a few min later.

While we were eating a black man tried to get in. The doors were locked and he was trying to get the waitresses attention. They finally unlocked the door and said "we are closed". He looked over at us and the few others that were still being served and said "What about them? You let them in. Is it because I am black?"

One time I was driving with a friend in the passenger seat and a cop pulled me over. I was surprised because I had not done anything and I thought out loud "Why did he pull me over". Without skipping a beat my friend said "because I am black". As it turned out, my tags were expired. I had forgotten to put the new one on.

She did say he had the right. I pointed out he had the right because he was a citizen NOT because he was Neighborhood Watch. Being NH was irrelevant to the case because he was not on patrol
