Anyone with half a mind can figure this one out...nothing funny about it.

Large group rents large auditorium in large city. Officials of said auditorium and said city want to protect themselves and the people who are a part of large group...so they screen people coming into large auditorium. Screening and other procedures cost a lot of money.

Shouldn't be to hard to figure out...

Ummm....it doesn't have anything to do with the faith that God will keep you. If an auditorium wants to have security measures in place that is their right. It is not only the terrorism thing either. I have a VERY close relative who is on the General Board and he stated various reasons including the security concerns to why a fee was the way to go.

Homeland Security is a factor, but that should be included in the scheduling of the events.

Hey, why don't we just hire "Borat" to take the podium and talk about his good friend "Mr. Jesus" and tell all his foreign "brothers" that Jesus is just alright with him? Gotta be cheaper than $25/head! :D
