I understand and beleive the concept of "praying in faith" and do that..what i don't get is the method. Jesus said "when you pray say, our father........."
He gave a coherant oral prayer asking...

The bible says if there is sickness, you should call for the elders of the church to annoint you with oil and pray "the prayer of faith".

That's my concern...it seems like a silly game. The bible says to work out my own salvation with fear and trembling. I KNOW when I got the Holy Ghost, and I didnt need the pastor to tell me that...

I dont disagree that prayer can impart it, but if our friend from church (the one I spoke of originally) had as much as mumbled a few sylables for a few moments, I think they would have declared him...

Most OP seem to think so. I beleive the Holy Ghost can (and does) prick us and lead us to him and to salvation. It's hard to imagine that the HG would inspire someone so throroughly as to consume...
