I have seen several good men reap trouble because of things said about them on one of these forums...questions made it off of the forum and into the pastor's office concerning things that were never factual...just gossip and rumors.
Over reaction...hardly...JS thanked me just today for defending him in the fashion that I have on this very forum.
Let us never forget that the tongue (WORDS) hold the power of life and death...but most of the things said about him have not been negative...and I made it clear that the offense is in the few....

I guess it is just a difference of opinion then. I am closely related to someone who has been spoken about on this forum, not always positively. I just know that to him, it is no big deal, he doesn't lose any sleep over it.
He has had many slanderous things said about him over the years, and has learned that one thing that you can never control is what others say about you. All that you can control is your own actions and behavior, and in the end, those things will stand.
