They do cause him unrest because words are powerful...and when things are said in a public forum, then read by those who may not be getting the whole picture, opinions are formed and thoughts are generated...
Especially in the minds of those who are connected here and also connected to the church where he is going to pastor.
I have seen several good men reap trouble because of things said about them on one of these forums...questions made it off of the forum and into the pastor's office concerning things that were never factual...just gossip and rumors.
Over reaction...hardly...JS thanked me just today for defending him in the fashion that I have on this very forum.
Let us never forget that the tongue (WORDS) hold the power of life and death...but most of the things said about him have not been negative...and I made it clear that the offense is in the few....
