I guess I fit def 2 to a large extent, though I don't care for the word "attack". I like "challenge" better. As to the question, I don't think it can be answered definitively for everyone, and the wording is "Should we...". It's not a job for the faint of heart.
But "yes" could have worked, too. I think everyone should challenge things. Everything. Why cling so tenaciously? If you are
