About Kwanzaa
Kwanzaa, or "First Fruits of the Harvest," is an African-American and Pan-Africian holiday which celebrates and strengthens community, family and culture over a period of seven days. Kwanzaa begins December 26th. Each day, a principle of Kwanzaa is celebrated:

The Seven Principles

I've never really studied Kwanzaa. Can a Christian celebrate Kwanzaa? It sounds like a cultural holiday focused on philosophical ethics that could be compatible with one's faith as a Christian.

Is Kwanzaa cool?

I'm thinking that while we should respect Kwanzaa followers, we are best to stick to the pagan holidays we are more familiar with, ie Christmas.

But... concerning the opening post... I don't even celebrate Christmas... why on earth would I remember Kwanzaa?
