Satan in the Church!

Satan In The Church!

Satan has successfully infiltrated many churches today, most in fact.

Churches today are saturated with ignorance,
demonic music, and doctrines of devils.
Many pastors and youth ministers have fallen
for the Devil's BIG LIE that the best way to reach
today's youth is through so-called Christian
music that mimics the unsaved world's music.

There's NOTHING "Christian" about such demonic music!

By imitating the unsaved world,
they have effectively brought the world
into the church.

1st Corinthians 10:21, "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils."

There is NO justification for worldly music.
It's never right to do wrong in order to
get a chance to do right.
It is wrong to use demonic music to
draw worldly youths into church.

If young people today choose to rebel
against the truth of God's Word,
then you're not going to convert them
through worldly music with improved lyrics.

Re: Satan in the Church!

When Paul spoke of becomning everything and using all means so that by all means he might reach some, what was he talking about?

Jesus went into the bars to reach people, and he was called a wine bibber.

If he wasn't in the bars or place of drinking, it would never have been a criticism.

There are people who will be reached by the Gospel as presented by Kirk Franklin.

There are people who will be reached by the Gospel as presented by Greg McCool.

There are people who will be reached by the Gospel as presented by that soul-winner that travels from town to town.

There are people who will be reached by the Gospel as presented by that Grandmother who has lived the life for many, many years.

You want to keep Jesus in a box when the same Jesus you want to keep in the box operated outside of the box for most of His 3 years of ministry.

The worldliness we have to guard against is more subversive than music with a certain beat. The worldliness of an unconverted heart and the worldliness of a heart that lusts after the wickedness of our surrounding society-- these are the wiles of satan that traps us in worldliness, making us ineffective for God's Work.

Music is music. Traditional black gospel is a mixture of Jazz and Blues. If you search Youtube, you'll find some ancient hymns in Aramaic, the language that Jesus spoke, and maybe you'll realize that music styles change naturally... it's the message that matters.

Re: Satan in the Church!

"Go into the highways and by ways,", but not on that side of town because it's dangerous and God knows how to reach those folks if they are really sincere.

"Go into the highways and by ways," but not to that venue because the heart's of those people are not ready for the Gospel.

"Go into the highways and by ways," and demand those who will listen to and obey the Gospel to also give up their individuality and make them into the kind of Christian that you are not so that you can feel good about your works while ignoring your own disobedience.

While the Gospel of Christ demands our death, it does not demand your specific way of life or your specific views on life.

Re: Satan in the Church!

Seriously? Did you ever consider that there was a day when Pipe Organs were thought too worldly for church? Style and beat have very little to do with music being classified as worship or demonic and I doubt the Holy Spirit is confined to our prejudices and stereotypes. I have to say though, when I read the Psalms and some of the OT scriptures about victory and praise, somehow, in my mind, I just don’t hear a mono-tone funeral dirge. For me it is all high energy, crescendos and trills. Our worship team thinks I’m old school because I can still enjoy some of those old 6/8 time waltzy church songs but I’m not stuck in 1960 and I’ve learned to worship and shout with the more contemporary stuff we sing these days.

Re: Satan in the Church!

There's more right with the chuch than wrong with the church.

Stop being so negative!
