What kind church are you having for New Years eve?

Last year, I missed the communion service and I was soooo sorry I did. I am not sure and I don't have any tangible truth, but I think things would have gone better this year had I been there.

Do any churches still do the watch-night thing where they put their people out on the street after midnight with all the crazies??

Footwashing? Who is doing footwashing?

What kinds of services are you looking forward to?

I might go to my pastor's house for New Year's Eve, eat, play games etc. No church service though. I might also dig around and see if I can find someone having a service.

Our communion/footwashing is Jan 6th instead.

We're not doing anything.

But I'm planning to go down to Morgantown, KY to a service that my buddy is preaching at. I don't know what all they're gonna do. I don't think they're doing communion/footwashing and such, that I know of...

Our church will be cold and dark on New year's Eve. We will have regular services on Jan 1 (Tuesday night usual service)

The next week is prayer every night and I am also going to be not here much that week. Friday will be foot washing.

We actually have a funeral to go to Monday (a couple died in a car accident on their way to church LAST Sunday in a horrible storm -since church is NEVER canceled, and when the doors are open, your expected to BE there! Our ex-church. AoG if you must know.).
But then will be spending Monday night either at home or with my brother in law.
