Saturday morning, I'll feel so lazy. Sunday we spent the day driving back and forth to Orlando, and then worked all week. I just want to decompress, stare at my computer or a DVD like a zombie. But Siegfried, bless his little doggie heart won't hear of it.
He keeps reaching up with his paw, hooking my left leg and turning me towards him. His agenda is that we need to be outside. The wonders of the outside world await. And the wonders do abound on the street where I live.
There is a winding country road with horse farms and orange groves. There are families of raccoons that raid the nearby chicken coop. We live on the Sebastian River and on the other side of the river is a wild life preserve. So there are Sand hill cranes, turkeys, peacocks, and eagles. Not to mention the gators and jumping fish in the river.
There are people to greet also: The guy who rides his horse up and down the street every day, a lone cowboy from another time, Mothers with children in strollers, and others walking their dogs.
Siegfried always wins this battle, and I'm glad he does. He is my pure conscience reminding me that there is a world of wonder just right outside my door and that I need to step out and embrace each day

I think it will bring flowers. why?
because i'm planting flowers 🌹
My doggie went outside, did her business quickly and ran back in and jumped under her blanket. I think she's giving me a completely different message than your dog is giving you.
(and I think I'm going to heed her message this chilly morning )
Completely agree about embracing each day, though!

Well, as far as embracing new days, I am actually finding each day to be a bit more bracing than the day before. I am already longing for the return of the sunny 70s.

Ya, the temps have finally gotten down to where you can go out and hike/bike ride. We're now in the upper 80's for a high -beautiful! 110 was a bit limiting this Summer (for pure healths sake).

Where do you live? I am contemplating ice, snow, cold, sleet, frozen feet. You talk of 80s, and I would be glad to be within 10 degrees of that. Right now I am just thankful that I do not live east of Ohio.

Sunny Mesa, Arizona. Kids will be trick or treating tonight around us and there will not be a jacket to be found.
Well, there were jackets, and a few gloves on some of the people that I saw. It is getting really cold at night. I am ready for winter to end, and we are in the middle of fall.
