Aquila,
The pages have been stained... by the blood He shed for you. God doesn't see the sins or imperfections. He sees only... Jesus Christ.

A tired, worn out cliche promoted by Evangelicals. Tell me this? Did God SEE IT when Anannias and Saphira sinned? Or did he just see Jesus? When God SEE it when the works of the Sardis Christians were not perfect? Or did he just see Jesus? Did God SEE the lukewarm Ladocian Christians or did he just see Jesus?

Lutzer - "he only sees Jesus. He took the pages out of my book and put Jesus's pages in it." Isn't that nice!

Anyone who is not absolutely sinless cannot make it into heaven. If you wanna be absolutely sinless like I am, lemme know, I'll tell ya the secret...
Who can lay charge of sin to me? none can.
Rom 8
33Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
None can condemn me!

Re: We have to Be perfect in order to make heaven
Can we know we are going to make it into the Kingdom? Certainly! How?
4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17
If we are like Jesus we can have boldness in the day of judgment. If we are not like HIM we have no assurance of the Kingdom.

Well, according to Luke2447, no one can know they are gonna make it to heaven. If you are sure you are gonna be in the kingdom, then you must be OSAS...go figure!

did you EVEN care to understand the CONTEXT? Of course not as I explained it to you.
Also many will stand boldly and guess what OOPS grace isn't what I thought it was. Misconceptions will lead many to a suprise.
Also I notice you did not qoute everything I said to you.

The scriptures do not teach this takes years Mike.
6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Romans 6:1-2
Looks like hes saying its something we can do from the time we believe doesnt it? A new creation can cease from sin. The unsaved will never stop. Those who at least claim salvation yet do not walk by faith in Gods word will always be up and down again. His question is how people who have tasted Gods grace can keep on sinning.
Look who Peter addresses.
2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, all evil speakings,
2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 1 Peter 2:1-2
Newborn babes are expected to lay aside even the "inner sins".
We have set the standard of Christs teaching far to low.

And many will have a false view of assurance based on false doctrine.
As I said we can percieve we have been faithful but God will still judge us accordingly. Whether we are right in our judgment God will show us.
