Esther, I would be willing to say that he positively will NOT be reading this thread. The church I attend is not an Apostolic church. Plus this man spends very little time even on the computer, let alone online. He reads Facebook but that's about it. But thank you for your concern. It really is a valid point and I appreciate your input.

Sexually abusing children chaps my hide. Just doesn't make no sense whatsoever.

absolutely correct, Truthseeker!! No excuses for it. No understanding it. Honestly, I'm even having a hard time with the idea of forgiving it. HOW do you forgive something so horrific?

I trink the big question that arises is why would God allow such a thing to a child if "Jesus loves all the little children in the world" The resentment could be massive.

Does God ever stop anyone from doing anything?

First of all I would not be allowing my little girl to go off trustingly with an older man. I don't understand the mindset and I grew up Catholic.

That's wise. But this is not the only situation that leads to trouble. Those guys are very inventive.

Jesus does love all the little children. But when God created this world, He gave mankind a FREE WILL. We are the ones who make choices on a daily basis. CAN God prevent some of the abuse? yes, I think He could. But so could we! In many of these cases, we have to ask ourselves, "What are WE doing to protect these children?"
