Yeah, that sticks out to me, bu perhaps what sticks out more is that in the video JA says he was not aware of anything. My understanding of what the Bible teaches about death is that we have a real sense of conscienceness. Without endorsing the stories of those who claim to have died (such as auto accident or hospital room), many claim to have seen their body laying there. For JA to say he was not aware of anything whatsoever, it seems to me he simply passed out.

people still forget the out pouring came through a bunch of trinities all across diferent denominations and beliefs and out of that was birthed Oneness pentacostalism
Ummm. That is not true. Oneness Pentecostalism didn't begin at Azusa.

you better study your history buddy.

Oneness pentacostalism came out of asuza street. it was a bunch of assembly of God preachers turned from trinity to oneness. It was called the New issue.

its in your apostolic books, it was birthed out of that movement.

The message was good, but then he did something that no preacher with a micro phone should do.

#1 he degraded people who are obese, and made terrible jokes like carrying your fat bellie in a wheel barral.
#2 He kept referring to a bunch of people in this one certain section as though they were a bunch of dummies.
#3 talking about Him and his wife, and that in its self is ok but not to the point it was getting to.

i general like the preaching, and it would have been better if he would have left out this type of crudness that he was bringing against people.

#4 If you dont worship like i do, then i dont want to sit by you.

there is a point this needs to stop.

again the message was great until he did this,

Re: Miracle at Impact Conference

Actually even folks in the medical profession some times have a hard time defining when a person is actually dead. Every so often we hear of someone in a morgue or funeral parlor who comes back to life or who maybe was not actually dead. We read about 3 people that Jesus raised from the dead; about one that Peter raised from the dead (Acts 9:36); about one that Paul raised from the dead (Acts 20:7-12); about Paul considered dead (Acts 14:19-20); about Elijah raising a person from the dead (1 Kings 17:17-24); about Elisha raising a person from the dead (2 Kings 4:18-37); and about a dead man reviving after coming in contact with Elisha's bones (2 Kings 13:20-21).

If we accept these stories from the Bible, why not accept that Bro. Arnold and Meat Loaf were "raised from the dead"?

Re: Miracle at Impact Conference

Well love him or hate him, Jeff Arnold is a man of faith. I was a new convert and apparently the UPC folks were scared to lay hands on me during the altar call for healing. Bro Arnold called me up and prayed for me personally and the Lord healed my whiplash instantly. That was about four years ago. I have been healed of many things (hypoglycemia, chronic fatigue syndrome and chronic stomach aches to name a few) so he is not the only one God uses. He is the real deal and I find most Christians claim the Lord heals but they don't believe it for themselves.

Correct. All religions (far as I know) make claims. And making claims doesn't necessarily mean they are true.

that however doesnt make them a christian.

I suppose so. But then, there isn't universal agreement on what makes one a Christian. By some definitions, you may not be one. (Yes, I know, those definitions are "wrong". )

I can give a short list of signs and questions.

If they flat line, cardio flatline and / or no brain waves they are gone.

in surgery, when they are being put to sleep, all the covers come off. (That is the reason the gown is front only it is removed)
You can look for the tiniest movement on the chest and abdomin for breathing.

In surgery no one wears nail polish. we can place a tiny pressure for a moment on the nail and watch color return. another is pupil dilation. a quick and easy test. A doc or trained tech sees several cues which the audience doesn't see them recognize. At the end of the audio there is reference to do cpr?. If he was "out" his not remembering what they did is explained by "short term memory ablation". And I can offer more. If they are working on him and he IS NOT dead, do you think he would keep his eyes closed?
Again if Bro Arnold wants to talk about this, that part where he was gone, he will not have memory restored. Like I said, short term memory ablation.

I could go on and on. One last little test. Just with a finger tip, a tiny brush of the eye lashes gives a reflex response. You don't have to carry and use a stethoscope to rule no heat beat.

The bad news is preaching is intense. If he went out, he would have hypoxia more quickly than if he was just sitting in a chair. He would have to have been brought back more quickly or have brain damage except for a miracle of God.

I haven't heard a clue in this story that makes me the least suspicious.

On the psych side, Bro Arnold is mean and I don't say that in a derogatory way but in a Jersey personality way. He is driven. He is aggressive. I conclude he is not a profile that would just "faint". If we pray that God give him another 15 years, God will. Then when his time comes it would still be a good idea to check his casket a few times to make sure. He is a driven personality.

Odd that he had a sermon line about God and being available for a miracle.
