The longer answer is it all depends. To me, tithing is not synonymous with salvation. Tithing needs to be taught and considered after someone has been born again and begun to walk with the Lord. But, like holiness, it is part of their relationship with Jesus. And, like holiness, giving is one manifestation of spiritual maturity.
So if one doesn't believes in tithes they would not have a relationship with Christ? Of course, we know those who love God are givers.

Maybe you didn't mean to, but I don't appreciate the twisting of my words. Were we to be perfected at the time of our conversion then there would be no need of the ministry. But we are not perfect, and some thing develop over time as we walk with the Lord and grow in the Spirit.

No twisting. An honest question to make sure I'm understand your view right. You posted as if tithes is on same level as holiness in regards to relationship with Christ, so I was clarifying it.

The ones that make themselves "aware" of such things can be awfully fun to tweak if you know what they are doing (and they don't know what YOU are doing).
I am so thankful for the opportunity to raise my envelope every Sunday and quote the Tithe Confession as a Blessed & Highly Favored Believer!
TITHERS ARE WINNERS and NON-TITHERS are LOSERS!
I saw this practice recently. How disgusting.
Basically "throw your tithe in the air, and wave it like you just don't care."
Yeah, like not caring about the scripture in Matthew 6:1-4.
I'm not aware of the tithe confession, can you direct me to such superstition in scripture. Please note Creflo Dollars books are not scripture, though they do qualify as superstition.
