"I Love You!"

Don Imus, national radio host, just lost his brother Fred, who was found dead in his bed at age 69. Fred produced Don’s show for a time and called in for decades, becoming “a regular guest who wouldn’t leave,” Mr. Imus said.

Although the two often argued on the air, they ended every call with “I love you.”

How different would this world be if we ended all of our conversations with those three small, but powerful words, "I love you!"

Is there anyone, that you talk to, that you could not say this to and mean it?

"I love you Seascape!"

By the way, it's easy to say to Sis. Alvear, "I love you!"

Just musin'

Re: "I Love You!"

I have instilled this very thing into my daughters. Never leave one another (even if its just to go to the store and back) without saying I love you. I am proud to say it has taken root. They never fail to express that sentiment no matter where they are going nor at the end of every phone call and text discussion.

Re: "I Love You!"

Good thoughts.

Just make sure you don't add the words "I think...." before you say "I love you" though. That would just be creepy.

Re: "I Love You!"

Touching story but I wish it could have been about anybody but Don Imus. Can't stand the guy so kind of diluted the warm sentiment!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

So, you couldn't have told him you loved him?

LOL!! If I were his brother of course I could. Imus is just so crude I have no respect for him and am not a fan. In my book he is in the Howard Stern catagory of personalities.

I agree with your description of him but was just wondering how we are suppose to feel toward those who "are not our brother!"

Jesus loved them. Do we have to? Not saying this to be argumentative just thinking out loud! Does it matter? ????

I'm well aware it's dangerous to tell a non-brother you love him in this day and hour.

I love everybody, even if they don't want me to.
