Deacon, I agree and I too have the same sentiments as you do. However, there was a budget submitted by BO. It was so awful that Harry Reed had to hold his nose. It was voted down in the Senate 98 to 0. It was so bad that he didn't get even one vote from the most liberal senators of his own home state. Even ol' Barry Sanders (I) didn't vote for it though he never saw a socialist program he didn't like.

It is truly amazing to me how the electorate could have been so duped by this empty suit now the POTUS. Simply amazing.

Deacon, I heard I heard! I listened I listened! I KNEW the worlds largest "I told you so!!" come coming soon after his election, but most of the people I know who voted for him have created such a strong "logic bubble" around them that it will always be "Georgie's Fault", no matter what Bam does. The type of person who thinks were in too much debt because we didn't spend enough is a person to whom there is no logical discussion with.

That budget was going to add $10 trillion more to the debt!

The hypocrisy of it all is what they criticize George W Bush and the GOP Congress of doing that led to the problems in '08 Obama has done 4 TIMES AS WORSE!

And they can say with a straight face: "George Bush did this".

The truth is---if W started a fire in '08, Obama poured a pipeline full of gasoline on it '09-'11!

Re: I Told You Back In 2008---You Wouldn't Listen

Dow dropped down 513 points on Thursday last week.

Dow dropped 635 points Monday.

Dow bounces back 429 points Tuesday.

Dow drops another 519 points today.

Will any of the BO supporters admit that these economic policies of the POTUS AREN'T WORKING?

JD are you STILL gonna vote for BO in 2012? Seriously? In spite of the obvious?

Re: I Told You Back In 2008---You Wouldn't Listen

They were all over this forum gloating after "the One we hasd been waiting for" won in 2008. I warned them then that he would be a one-termer. I warned them that his policies would make a bad situation worse. It seems they have left the forum or they only lurk these days.

Re: I Told You Back In 2008---You Wouldn't Listen

Congress sets the budget. Since the Dems took over in '06/'08 the debt has gone from 8 trillion to 14 trillion. In 4-6 years they have ran up more on the nations "credit card" then in the previous 200 years combined.

I have a feeling it is going to take another World War to bring us out of this depression again.
