They would call him back, he wouldn't talk unless they were willing to meet his price. Of course, it might take days/weeks to have a new car, but he was a stickler for staying at his price.

Hubby and I are that good. But the last three vehicles we have purchased, we used the Edmunds website and felt that we got a good deal based upon their information.
Look at all the trouble I went to and he already had a plan! 20%, bottom line. LOL! Well, I did learn something anyway. When we are ready to be bombarded with calls, I think I will try Randy's way of having the Dealers pitted against each other for our business. Sounds like an awesome plan to me! We can give them our bottom line and let them duke it out.

My daughter told me today, "Mother, that sounds just like you that you think you need the Lincoln MKX. That is just retarded to pay that much for a vehicle! Look at the Equinox!"

I did check it out and it rates much better than the Escape, i.e. mileage, safety, etc. I told my husband about it and he said, "I'm not buying a Chevy!" LOL! He also said he wasn't all that sold on the Escape anyway. We are now looking at the Explorer.

Today our lives took a big turn, our son and his new wife are moving in with us tomorrow. Putting them on the other side of the house. So, if you don't hear from me, I will at least post what vehicle we eventually pick up. Thanks for your input!

Depends on what condition it is in, but I'm thinking the top line could have been in the low 20's, so it looks like you did good.

LOL! I knew you were joking. I'm pretty happy with whom I'm with. Although, I think a couple of times I didn't care whether he dropped dead or not. At least I didn't think of divorce, right?!

I gave her a Bible study on a Wednesday evening and she received the Holy Ghost that night - two weeks before the wedding. Awesome! God is good all the time!
