Need You Guys One More Time
My right hand carpal tunnel surgery was scheduled for this coming Wednesday. I went Monday for the blood work and EKG to make sure all was okay for surgery. Well.........it's not.
Had a third EKG today at my Internist and it shows a possible heart attack. I'll be seeing a cardiologist next week and, of course, surgery has been postponed.
I think I know exactly when this "possible heart attack" happened. It was last month and I was awakened during the night with a feeling I'd never experienced before and hoped I wouldn't ever again. I just wrote it off as eating something that bothered me even though I've never had problems like that. Well, now that I know that feeling, I will NOT ignore it should I have it again. Matter of fact, the doctor said to call 911 immediately.
God is good - - he had his hand on me then and still does. I love you guys and even though I'm not around much anymore, this is still home to me and I know there are many here that know how to pray and I covet those prayers.
Love ya!

Oh no! Or should I say, oh yes!? Glad you are still with us. And I'll offer prayers for you.
Take it easy and obey Doc's orders!

Renda,
Just seeing this! Thank God for His Mighty Hand of Protection on each of us. Especially on you during this time.
GREAT LORD GOD. we humbly ask that You would give the cardiologist much wisdom when Renda goes for her appt. LORD, we know that You are All Knowing, All-Sufficient, and ALMIGHTY! We humbly ask that Your Keeping Hand be upon Renda, in Jesus Name. Thank You, LORD and we love You with all of our hearts.

Renda, it sounds funny to say this, but thank the Lord that you were going to have that carpal tunnel surgery. Otherwise, you might never have known that what you had was a heart attack.
You already know without us even saying it that we will be praying for you. But I'm gonna tell you anyways. Cuz sometimes it's just nice to know for sure that people love you and are praying for you.

Thanks everyone!
Margie, you are exactly right! I'd already thought about that - that's God's way of taking care of us, isn't it?
There's no history of heart problems in my family. I'm almost convinced it's a side effect from a medication that I'm taking, will be good to find out what's really going on. Can't help one thing without affecting something else.
With faith, prayers and love from my family and friends, I know everything is going to be alright.

Re: Need You Guys One More Time
Back in 2003, I was having some weird symptoms and it wouldn't go away. I can't explain it, except I felt like a huge weight pushing on my chest. No pain - just heaviness. I was in Memphis by myself and just kept thinking something is not right. So I drove myself back to Jackson and went straight to the ER. (Eddie was in New Jersey preaching). They told me I had had a heart attack, and possibly two. I was floored!! I had absolutely NO PAIN. Very strange.
But.........God healed me. When they did the cath, they came back and said they didn't know what had happened, but I was completely ok. All the enzyme tests had shown a heart attack. I believe that God just restored my heart.
I'll be praying for you! You have enough "stuff" right now, without having to worry about this too.

And, God can do the same for me!!!!!
I was planning on going to Savannah tomorrow, but feel it's probably best for me to chill out here. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys!
These two sudden deaths in your family has reminded me how fleeting life is and how we have to put all our trust in Him.
Love you, Sherri!
