Not really. Easter is also a pagan holiday. If we wanted to remember Christs death we should do it at Passover since that's when he died.

I worry myself with what affects my worship on the holiday issue. We don't generally do anything different on the 4th of July other than be off work. But that is largely because we just don't get all worked up over symbolism.

On the 4th of July I am most like to be found working on my chickens' pen or on my house than anything else.
