It's really so very simple. They are the Ten Commandments.
It never became the Nine Commandments or the Nine Commandments and one suggestion.
They either is or they aint... In or out...Which is it?
Amen! We get upset because they took the Ten Commandments out of schools and courthouses... yet you're hard pressed to find a church that believes in all ten of the Ten Commandments! lol
Pardon me but I come from this pov, and this is about as death centered as it gets . . .
I've been thinking about this a lot this morning. We are so hung up on death, hell, and the grave, which Jesus defeated to give us life more abundantly. Too bad we can't shift our focus more toward life instead of endlessly debating who is on their way to hell, or does our sense of balance depend on jockeying for position to see who is first and who is last? I'm tired of being obsessed with religion, I want to move away from the hell centric view and more toward joy, joy, unspeakable joy . . . righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Does anyone know of a trinitarian group which preaches the perverted gospel of denying medical attention to onesself, or your children, in order to please God? You know, the kind of teaching which results in the death of innocent infants, children, women and men who follow the ignorant man who teaches that God isn't pleased, and it might even be a sin, to seek medical attention?
I know of so-called, -self-proclaimed 'apostolics' who preach that very thing. I can take you to the graves of the little children who died under such perverted leadership.
Do we have any 'apostolic' ministers here who have participated and preached in such an perverted religious environment?
The Church of the Firstborn which is Trinitarian teaches this all through the Mid-West.
I think it's a good thing the Ultra Cons are so against TV...can you imagine people watching this stuff and then hearing at the end "Please visit our loving, caring congregation at ABC Apostolic church, or ABC Oneness Pentecostal church"???
Now if they would only be consistent and get off the internet too
I know of a UPC church that has an advertisement on TV that shows all sorts of normal looking people but none of which are members of their chiurch nor is it reflective of how they look. Imagine the shock when folks walk in and see that the ad completely misrepresents what this church is all about.

Yes we are. We're not keeping the Law of Moses concerning the Sabbath day. We keep the Fourth Commandment regarding the Sabbath day. Challenge me on that. All God commands is as follows:
Exodus 20:8-11 (ESV)
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
-We must REMEMBER the Sabbath day.
-We must make it holy, a time to worship.
-We must rest from working and refresh, celebrating life and all of creation.
-The entire family is to participate.
Can you prove this wrong? Go ahead... fight and rebel from God's Law. I dare ya.
Some people embrace and LOVE the legalistic traditions of man... but they HATE the Law of God (the Ten Commandments).
If you use electricity or gas you are in violation of this passage. You before you preach it you must practice it.
By the way ALL "Pentecostal groups" both Trinitarian and Oneness taught against using medical aid in theor infancy. Just read Parham-Seymour-Haywood's earliest writings. Also it was in the Church of God's original doctrinal statement. I think they were incorrect although folks did believe God and saw many more miracles than we see today.
Firstly the manservant-madiservant-nor ass or oxen could work that is equivilant of our power companies. They would have to turn their lights and gas off on the sabbath to keep it. Not down not have an automatic timer like the Jews but they could not burn electricity or use gas on the sabbath.

What's perverted about it? The Bible instructs you to call for the elders of the church etc., and it says what will happen: the sick will be healed. Jesus mentions, metaphorically, that the sick need a doctor and not the well. Doesn't cancel that command in James. And Jesus also promised that anything you ask in His name will be done for you. Simple!
If my wife asks me to mow the lawn, then hires a gardener to do it, is she trusting me?
If you ask for healing, in Jesus' name, and go to a doctor, are you trusting God?

Wrong. Now you're telling a lie Bro. Epley. The Law of Moses condemns fire in one's dwelling on the Sabbath, NOT the Ten Commandments. That handwriting of ordinances was nailed to the cross. The Ten Commandments still stand. The following is ALL that is said about the Sabbath in the Fourth Commandment, and therefore, the following is all that is binding:
Exodus 20:8-11 (ESV)

You don't know the difference between the Ten Commandments and the Law of Moses! You must distinguish between the two if you want to know God's will.
Jesus said,
Matthew 5:18
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Heaven and earth are still standing... the Law of God (the Ten Commandments) still STAND!
John 14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
If you love Jesus, KEEP the commandments.
John said,
1 John 2:3
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1 John 2:4
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1 John 3:24

Revelation 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Revelation 22:14

Repent Bro. Epley.
Before you post these passages you must obey them. The man was stoned for picking up sticks on the sabbath GOD told them to! But Aquilla runs his heat and air, dare say drives his car, watches his ungodly television, surfs the internet, etc. Aquilla doesn't keep the sabbath day anymore than I do.
