I have preached for and fellowshipped men who do not go for medical attention. I do not believe that but I honor them for practicing what they feel is faith and trusting God for their healing. No doubt some have died that could be living today but there are probably some living who medical aid could not help.
I have preached infants' funerals that went to the doctor and died under medicial care. However made it an attack on Apostolic folks as saying Trinity folks didn't teach this and you are wrong.
Is it a perversion to teach James 5:14? Everyone is going to die and some sadly are infants. You nor I hold the keys of death only Jesus. So really you impugn Him not those trusting Him.
Are you saying that it's acceptable for parents to deny medical care to their children, including infants, in order to please God? Is that preaching the truth?
Jesus did fulfill the Law. But it wasn't done away with. Only the handwriting of ordinances (the Law of Moses) was nailed to the cross. Two Laws: Law of God (defines sin)... and The Law of Moses (how to be forgiven of sin). The Law of Moses was nailed to the cross. Sin is still sin (Ten Commandments still stand). However, now we approach through faith in Jesus and our love of God (law of Christ).
So... how should a Christian keep the Sabbath according to the Law of God (Ten Commandments)?
Exodus 20:8-11 (ESV)
8 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
-We must REMEMBER the Sabbath day.
-We must make it holy, a time to worship.
-We must rest from working.
-The entire family is to participate.
That's all that God's Law commands regarding the Sabbath. The laws about fire in your dwelling, not traveling, issues about picking up sticks, etc., etc., were part of that handwriting of ordinances that was nailed to the cross. Just remember, rest, worship, family. That's all.
You can gather with the saints and worship. Then go on a nature walk or go fishing. You can have family Bible study. Lounge around the pool with a devotional. That's Sabbath keeping NT style.
P.S.
Minimal work to sustain one's self isn't condemned. The disciples picked corn on the Sabbath. The Sabbath isn't a burden... it's a DELIGHT.
Thanks for your responce,i believe that the weekly sabbath day in the OT was a foreshadow of our rest in GOD,and JESUS brought that rest when HE came and fulfilled the law and prophets. But like i said before we should remember the sabbath day as GOD has said, but we do not keep it the way they did in the OT,because the spiritual rest had not come yet. That is why the Apostles did not teach on how to keep the sabbath in the NT because they knew their rest was in the Holy Ghost. That is why i ask if you could show how to keep it in the NT.(because there is no instructions of how to keep it in the NT.)I know that there was a Law of moses and there is a Law of GOD and there is a differents, and it was the Law of moses that was nailed to the tree (abolished). If they were to keep the sabbath in the NT the same way that they kept it in the OT, then the Apostles would have taught the gentiles that were born again how to keep it the way that they did in the OT.But now we are to keep it the way GOD intended all along ,by the inward man. Here are the verses that back up what i am saying.
Heb.3-18,1918)And to whom sware HE that they should not enter into HIS rest, but to them that believed not?
(19)So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Heb.4-1thru113)For we which have believed do enter into rest,As i have sworn in my wrath,if they shall enter into My rest:although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
(10)For he that is enetred into HIS rest,he also has ceased from his own works,as GOD did from HIS.
(11)Let us labour therefore to enter into THAT REST,lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
Here He is not talking about the weekly sabbath day rest, because they kept that rest, but here GOD is talking about a rest they could not enter in,because of their unbelief, but here He is talking about the Spiritual rest that GOD wanted to give to HIS people all along. And JESUS brought that rest.
Matt.11-28,2928)Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
(29)Take my yoke upon you,and learn of me;for i am meek and lowly in heart:and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
So yes i do believe that we should remember the sabbath day in respect and honor to GOD's creation, and i do know that the sabbath is a delight. But we keep the sabbath now by the inward man,by the New Covenant
Heb.8-6thru1010)For this is the covenant that i will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the LORD;I will put my Laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:and i will be to them a GOD ,and they shall be to me a people.
Rom.7-22:For i delight in the Law of GOD after the inward man:
As for worshipping GOD on the sabbath,we should worship GOD every day.
But i do not judge others on the way they keep the sabbath day,or even what day they keep. But i keep it the way GOD wanted us to keep it all along by the spirit.
Rom.14-5,65)One man esteemeth one day above another, another eseemeth every day alike. Let evey man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
(6)He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the LORD;and he that regardeth not the day,to the LORD he doeth not regard it.
Back to the subject All Trinitarians are lost sadly. And if you believe Trinitarians are saved you are probably lost.
The subject never changed with us women posting, Brother Epley. It fits squarely right into this subject. The fact is, you are making blanket statements that all people who do not believe "Oneness" are lost.
Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. The Gospel is all about Jesus our Savior. Even "trinitarians" believe Jesus is God. Who dissected and labeled people as "trinitarians" or "oneness" anyway?
Just another way to separate the people of God into 38,000 different denominations. A Nicolaitan Doctrine which Jesus said that He hated.
Have you ever gone into "trinitarian" churches to preach the "oneness" message? You know, to bring that message into their ranks?
....go into the world...

I'm going to make a leap here, but bear with me. If Jesus considered the Samaritan a neighbor that should be loved, should we consider trinitarians or oneness people the same?
Luke 10:25-37
25And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
Actually, this is a very profound statement Amanah.
Isn't it interesting that the priest and the levite (the religious leaders of the time) looked at beat up man, then proceeded to pass by him on the other side. Yet, the hated Samaritan (the lost) had compassion on him and took of his own substance and showed mercy upon him.
Yes, Jesus told us to go and do likewise. Which one of these examples does anybody think will be justified on judgment day?
One cannot put a lit candle under a bushel and expect it to shine.
Nobody knows for sure if they're really saved or not. I think we can all agree on that. (Of course, we don't all agree, but we should! ) Jesus predicted that many believers would actually be rejected by Him. Sad.

Hebrews 13:23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty
Last weekend, I sat in the local UPC church, thinking that being there was likely the closest to truth I was going to be able to get. The woman in front of me had her hair piled up so high that it was truly a work of art, and she had a hair thing like a huge flower sculpture sticking out of the side of her head, her suit was remarkably beautifull. My hair is still not growing right, its fragile from having gone thru chemo and it keeps breaking off, so I'm sitting there wearing a long haired wig just so people won't judge me by my hair. And I'm asking myself, God is this really where I belong? The preacher is telling us to take our wallets and empty them on the altar like the wise men offered all their substance when they came to see baby Jesus. God is this where I really belong?
I know this church is pretty liberal compared to what I came up in, I can see many people there who do not fit the apostolic identity, people at all different stages in their walk with God. Maybe this is where I belong.
My heart is breaking, I don't want to be narrow minded, closed minded, hatefull and exclusive.
My heart is breaking, I don't want to be lost either.
Amanah, the closest to the truth that you will ever get on this side of eternity is when you open your own Bible and ask Jesus to teach you, in the Holy Ghost. I think that God would think your hair is as beautiful, or even more so than the sculptured hair of the woman in front of you at the church service. You see, God does not look upon the outside of the vessel, but has the ability to view what is on the inside of the vessel. Remember that he picked King David over all of the others.
The situation is pitiful if women should go so far that they feel they must put on a wig in order to feel accepted by oneness pentecostals. People should not have to fear the judgment of another mortal human being because of how they look.
That is adding to the burden you already had when you had to take chemotherapy. You should be able to walk into any church and feel at rest instead of wondering what the others think about your hair. If the women are not crowding around you to uplift you and give you encouragement, then it is a selfish church system.
This is for you Sister Amanah. Sometimes we get fed more by the Holy Ghost when we minister to others (and I think you understand what I am saying here). Do not feel ashamed by your hair. You have walked through the valley on your way to the mountaintop. Let the Holy Ghost take you to the mountaintop to fellowship with Christ.
However, you should attend where you feel led by the Holy Ghost to attend services.
Nobody knows for sure if they're really saved or not. I think we can all agree on that. (Of course, we don't all agree, but we should! ) Jesus predicted that many believers would actually be rejected by Him. Sad.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
(Matthew 24:11-13)
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
We have to endure to the end, whether it be of time or of our life in order to be saved.
Life is like an obstacle course. There will be many stumbling blocks put before us, but we must continue to run the race around them to gain the prize of seeing Christ. We should want our fellow human to gain that prize also.
Are you saying that it's acceptable for parents to deny medical care to their children, including infants, in order to please God? Is that preaching the truth?
But Jesus Christ told me to leave religious righteousness behind, that it was all about God and our love for Him and His love for us. He said that as an extension of that love would come love for one another and humanity in general. He said that some people will not hear it no matter how many times He says it. Jesus said don't sweat the small stuff, it'll all work out. Jesus said his kingdom is coming if we just hang on and to get as many ready as we can.
AMEN!!!!!! Praise God for what reading the WORD with an open mind and heart did for you!!!!!!
Love truly is the heartbeat of God's word!
