It is a funny thing. Usually a man who does not know the truth, assumes that he is the only one who does have the truth.
I have very often thought that what I 'do know for sure'.....is that there is still much I can learn. God has certainly revealed much to me, I am constantly 'seeing' is infinate Glory. However, I believe He is 'more'......more than this person/me is able to grasp. If I start telling people that "I know the truth, and they do not". ..... It is probably a very good sign that I am devoid of any understanding.

No one church or organization has "the truth". We are all in a process and learning (hopefully) every day. The Baptists have a strong truth about grace, that we as Pentecostals are just starting to grasp. We have some truths that they don't have, but we don't have total truth.

It is the epitome of arrogance to say you have "THE truth".

Jesus said the Spirit will guide his disciples into all truth. Spirit filled people will be zealous for truth.

The Apostle John believed Jesus.

I believe it is very possible that JESUS is able to call all who he will......whether or not He has 'our' permission to do it the way that 'we' will allow Him, and regardless of the 'requirements'......that WE put on salvation.
I like to remember the admonishion (? spelling)...in Job.. "Who are you, to claim to know my workings and all my ways?".
I even have a hard time singing 'Amazing Grace'. "I once was lost, but now I see". I prefer not to think in the 'static' of "I see"....but "I am seeing".......I am seeing ....what God will reveal to me...it is not of me, but is of Him. I am dust.

I do have to admit I am hearing alot more on grace at my Little Pentecostal/Apostolic Church I attend and I just want to stand up and say...hold on you sound like the baptist...mabey those baptist are on to something if the pentecostals are starting to sound like them..which would not matter to me I don't like religion anyway I just tolerate it for the wifes sake..
