I don't single out sinners for special condemnation. Nor do I single out struggling saints for special condemnation. If a person is struggling with temptations, rather they be psychological or rooted in the flesh (biology), I support their walk in Christ and encourage them to draw ever closer to Him, regardless of their past and their failures.

One thing anyone who knows me will tell you... I'm the one person who, should you fall, I'll not stop believing in you, and I'll be one you can confide in...regardless of the sin. It would take the Holy Ghost commanding me to not associate with you. That has happened on occasion and it breaks my heart. I am thankful that only happens on an individual basis. I don't know why God often cuts some off so quickly, yet is slow to anger and patient in mercy for others. Perhaps He knows something we don't.

However, please tell me: for the one who claims the Christian label, how on earth is someone else who lives with any indication of homosexual tendencies (celebate or otherwise), or any other sins, supposed to be reached when thoughts like yours are at the forefront of your mind?

Do you talk to a stranger with those thoughts in your head? "Maybe they're drunkards, smokers, homosexual...*gasp*...sinners!!!" before you even get to know them.

All the behaviors mentioned above have been around long before you or I came into the picture with our self-righteous, I'm better than them, attitude...

Unfortunately, it's not always that simple. Most gay people will tell you that they became aware of their same-sex inclinations in childhood... like sometimes before puberty.

The most common reaction to this personal discovery is self-loathing and denial. Many have committed suicide. In other words, why would a young person choose a homosexual orientation at the risk of being ostracized and ridiculed and called unnatural by society?

I believe it was just last year that a report was put out showing how huge numbers of junior high school girls were CHOOSING to be bisexual b/c they felt that guys liked that sort of thing. How many other reports have shown those who were sexually abused chose same sex relations because they were abused by the opposite sex and now couldn't trust them.

Perversion is chosen just as much as it is "natural".

Usually girls abused by men become sluts. Boys abused by men go gay.

IDK what happens when a woman abuses a child.
