Sort of like a chess player looking at the board before a single piece is played and saying "Checkmate in 29 moves!".
So then, the only purpose of these miracles is to keep Randy alive and well?

Re: Amazing accounts anyone?

My youngest brother was healed of asthma when he was a baby. (Told in a prior post)

Over the course a week, we saw God heal a child that was not expected to live to needing very minor reconstructive surgery and a prognosis of a complete recovery.

Mom had a broke toe healed.

Dad and Uncle were in a car wreck, and the police said that they should have been severely injured and likely dead. As it was, there was only minor injuries, and Dad had some knee problems ever after.

Mom cast ants out of dog food once.

I know that there were more, but these were the ones at the top of my head.

Re: Amazing accounts anyone?

I got one.

This february on the 16th, I was going to church (we have church on tuesday/thursday/sunday. Tuesday is prayer meeting, Thursday is bible study, then sunday we have the gambit.) now I hadn't been to church in like three weeks, my church is 45 miles away from my home. It's the only apostolic/pentecostal church (that doesn't handle snakes and the like) near me.
God really laid it on me that I needed to go though. So I went. I was gone a total of about 3 1/2 or 4 hours and when I got back my house had been broken into and everything worth value was gone (besides furniture and clothes and my acoustic guitars which I thank god for one was a gift from my great grandmother that her husband gave her back in the 40's) I called a good friend I work with who is a Deacon at my church and he said "Dalton don't worry about it, I promise you that because you were at church, you will recieve everything back and more."

Within about 3 or 4 hours (after some praying) I got a phone call from my mother telling me my cousin wanted me to call him. When I did, it turned out he was moving out of his house and he said I could rent it 2 acres of land and a 2 bedroom 2 bath singlewide verrrryyyy nice and well kept and beautiful for about $350 which is half the price of the place I was renting (which had bars on the inside of the windows and was about the size of a mcdonalds waiting area) THEN he tells me he hates moving stuff and he would sell me everything he owned for 600 dollars. (I had been struggling because I didn't have a working dryer for about 5 months and we were reallllly struggling) So I not only got a new home that was much bigger and I can go out and not have to worry about anything and get this, Living room set (microfibre) Washer/dryer (nice brand new) Microwave/fridge a surround sound sony theater system, a queen size bed, and the home came fully furnished with little framed pictures on the wall of Prayers and Inspirational poems about god (Which before my old home had Metallica/Tool/Cannibal Corpse/ Bob Marley/ N.W.A/ Tupac/ Biggie Smalls/ gojira/ amon amarth/ tyr posters all over it.... I know I have an odd taste in music I'm sorry)

All of this at tax time when I was able to do it.

So.... that was amazing. I cannot begin to express how much I am grateful to Jesus. Thank you Jesus!!!

Re: Amazing accounts anyone?

It's amazing that I'm a liar, thief, hated people, fornicator, an adulterer of the heart, had idols, pride of all sorts, just a plain rebel against God and in spite of me He saved me. I find it hard to wrap my brain around, but He took all the wrath that was stored up for me upon Himself.

Hi Denise,

I was healed of chronic bronchitis at the age of 17. My son was healed of bacterial meningitis when he was six weeks old. My wife was healed of arthritis in her hands, and I was healed of arthritis in my knees about four years ago.

Oh, and most importantly of all: God healed me of my sin!
