A lot of people, in fact I'll go as far to say most on this forum have been extremely hurt spiritually.
Spiritual Abuse is real folks. And I'm so sorry most of you have been mistreated and hurt by some ministers and pastors in the UPC.

Yeah...spiritual abuse is far from being limited to just the UPC and neither is it the majority of the examples given on here...its a pretty broad spread.

I was not really sure how to answer his question because it is so much more than a basic yes or no, but no seemed more right than yes.
I wish I could be Mennonite is what I wish. LOL! But that's a pipe dream. I don't think I will ever be a church goer again at this point in my life.

But most churches don't claim perfection and safety from the world as extremely as the UPC does.

I was raised Catholic. I have mostly good memories of the RCC.

Well, it's been fun and good to see everyone.
Last night, after posting on this thread, writing what I did and defending myself, I am very sore in my shoulders and neck and back. That is what usually happens. Not to mention a lot of time spent here.
So.....I'm signing off again for a while.
Oh, I should share though before I go that I start nursing school in the fall.  I am excited and scared to death.
