Believe or not, I thought about our exchange after I logged off the other day and I would like to re-visit it.


I should not have compared you to satan. I should have compared you to Eve. The reason why is because both you and her have added to God's Word with your interpretations.

I know you don't mean harm and I don't mean any harm either.

There are folks who are not able to provide for their families-- for a variety of reasons, especially in this economy. It's not because they don't want to, it's because they can't find a job.

There are folks who are injured and cannot provide for their families.

There are situations where there are lazy people who simply won't work, but usually that is not the case.


I don't understand how you can think it to be a bad thing for our government to provide assistance to people in their time of need. Sure, it could be a better system, but it is better for these poeple to be helped so that they can eventually help themselves.


So with the point I was trying to make, a better comparison would be to compare you to Eve. satan questioned God's Word, Eve added her own interpretation.
