Dogs can be strange in their actions sometimes.

We had a small part poodle dog that had a litter when she was very young. We never had her fixed because after her first litter she never went into heat again.
She started slowing down when she got around 9 years old but all of sudden after almost a decade went into heat and got pregnant! She had a bunch of puppies and it miraculously rejuvenated her. I had to have her put to sleep at the age of 17 because she was almost completely blind and was in poor health but after that litter of papers at about age 9 she was like a puppy until she was about 14 or 15 years old. It was weird.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
