Romney. By larger margin than most speculate. Not real close.

I think Romney will win and win by a decent margin. Romney and Obama have their base and by many polls Romney has an edge on Obama among likely voters. This leaves the two candidate to fight for the votes of the undecideds and history has tought us that undecideds usually vote for the challenger. This would give Romney a sizable lead over the prez.

It all comes down to the methodology of figuring out who is a likely voter. It worries me that the polls out the last couple of days seem to show that tightening but then Gallup has not polled since the storm and their numbers showed more for Romney. Gallup also tends to historically be pretty accurate at this point in the race I believe. They are supposed to start polling again today so I think tomorrow we will see new numbers from them.

To your point I do think that the economy probably has bottomed out. However I think the prospects for a sustained recovery are much greater with Romney than Obama because Obama will continue to increase Federal government regulations, interference with business, and spending. All things that will hinder a good recovery.

Im concerned about this too. Another thing to consider is, historically conservatives do not answer polls as often as dems or libs do. this could skew things as well.

I don't like Obama or Romney. I don't share the hate or fear of apocalyptic scenario's that many seem to associate with an Obama win, but I don't like the way he's handled the previous 4 years. I don't like the way it appears that Romney has changed his position on things over and over to expect that voting for him will actually bring to pass anything he promises (which is typical of any politician but anywhoo..). I will vote because I have too much respect for those who've fought for us to have that right to ignore it, but I don't feel good about either choice.
