Re: Christmas Gifts

Had a friend "give" his daughter a car for high school graduation. Yeah, the quote marks are there for a reason: he handed over the monthly payments along with the car! Sigh.

Uh, Oh! Not much of a gift, unless she didn't have the credit and he took care of that. Which means, he is co-signer - right? That is doing her a favor.

They looked just like the little mermaid looking people in the ad. They were really quite cute!

Also heard someone say that God "gave" them a house. (But not the closing costs or the payments or the upkeep or etc.)

(Don't know about the credit situation. Even so, saying he gave her a car is a biiiiig stretch.)

Yea, I agree - big stretch. My son wanted me to co-sign on a bike for him a few years ago. I said, "Are you kidding me? If you get killed it would be my fault you had it in the first place. No, I am not co-signing for bike." lol

I break for Melissa and Doug. Check this out. We used to use coffee cans. You know I'll be ordering this when they get older. Fun outdoor play!

Re: Christmas Gifts

I paid $100 for this collection last year. It is on sale right now at $42.99 for the complete series! Just ordered this for my daughter. That was the last gift I needed to be ready for Christmas! Lovely and I didn't have to get in my vehicle at all! Awesome!!!! Oops, forgot the stocking stuffers. I will have to shop in town for those.
