What did you see that was lacking? I thought it has done a good job so far presenting the Bible, I didn't see that much that was lacking. Unless you base the opinion on the KJV, and then I can see where you are coming from.

However, I did love the fact that Noah had an Irish accent, Abraham had a British accent and Moses had a Scottish accent

What was lacking was the underlying spiritual truths to the stories. For example, Abraham's encounter with the angels. There's so much going on there that's much deeper and complex than three men simply showing up.

The series is for those who have little or no idea about the stories of the bible and I guess it's a good way to give a very very basic introduction. It's far from being reflective of the actual events and their underlying spiritual truths though.

I didnt perceive them to be just 3 men. I guess it is in perspective. Of course Im not expecting much depth, but maybe it will make some folks start to seek.

Last fall I saw about a 7 minute sneak peak at this production introduced in person by the producers (Mark Burnett and his wife the actress Roma Downey).

If the entire production lives up to the sneak preview I saw then you will not want to miss this.

I only saw one extended scene with the actor playing Jesus but he was perfectly cast. They intentionally cast an actor unknown to American audiences and for once not British!
Didn't see it...watched the Live stream of a Collingsworth Family concert from Louisiana.

It's the Bible for the MTV generation........but, I didn't have a gripe with it. It covered the basics.

Did Noah at any time complain about people always wanting to steal his Lucky Charms? Did Abraham ever see "I say I say!" or "Cheerio!"? And did Moses EVER say "I'm givin it all she's got Captain!"?
