God bless you Margie!

I honestly believe with all my heart that some of the greatest Prayer Warriors this world has ever known are right here on AFF. What would I have done without all of you more than one time in the past 8 or 9 years! (Can you believe it has been that long for some of us!)

Love you, Margie. And I KNOW you pray for me, too.

Thank you, Hoovie!
And yes, Cindy, I DO pray for you - and for many, many others here
You know, it's funny - when I first came to this world, long before we were AFF, I had heard about it, but wasn't sure if I would "fit in" or even want to stay. I've found tho that I have made some very special friends here. If you want to get rid of me, I guess you'll just have to shut down the forum altogether! We've moved from FRIENDS to FAMILY We're all a part of the family of God.

For me I go back to the first original forum. To be honest it has been my favorite because it was what I was looking for; Bible study interaction. The newer forums don't offer the dept of discussion we had there. One reason is most of those posters have left to go to a ministers only forum.
Second the same subject keep coming up and some of the older posters just are tired of discussing the same subjects, here I need to remind US, me included to be more patient and let them ask their questions.
Third reason I have found and appreciate is updates of what is happening around the different churches. I have found pastors today tend to keep everything to them selves.
Discussion on conferences I am not able to attend. It's a good way to keep updated.
I have met some really nice people here and truly miss a lot of my favorites that have left.
I love and have learned politics from PO and Deacon Blues.
The food section used to more lively than it is now. But everything ebbs and flows.
I dont have as much time as I used to here but still enjoy interacting with cyber friends.

Clean, thoughtful, respectful, Biblically-based discussion of topics. I have not found that here, save 2-3 posters.

I expected to find new friends.... and I have, plenty of them.
I came looking for fellowship... for inspiration... for encouragement. And, I found more than I ever expected.
I expected to be challenged in my thinking, to be shown my error, and to learn more about the Word of God. And, I'm thankful to say AFF has met my expectations... and then some.
I expected to find diverse veiws... things I don't necessarily agree with.... and I appreciate this as it has strengthen my own veiws, and has helped me to learn to disagree without being a jerk about it.
I expected AFF to be exactly like, well, like a box of chocolates. You never know what ya gonna get.
Man, that would make a great line in a movie.
