'Reverend' epley? Rdp?
That has nothing to do with the discussion.

Ya, that's about like claiming, "Anyone who would spell "True" as "Ture" hates correctly spelled words.

Seekerman, our last two children were born at home and they were the LEAST TROUBLESOME births my wife had.

BTW, that was HER decision (I was scared out of my wits the first time lol).

I have never heard anyone (in real life) teach it was a SIN to go to the doctor. But that attitude is not unique to the 'ultra-con Oneness Pentecostal' camp - it is the GENERAL ATTITUDE of the entire Religious Science movement, as well as the Christian Science movement, and some fringe charismatic groups.

Your vehement disdain for certain people and 'groups' suggests you need some healing, dude.

Did I miss something but all the UC's I ever associated with were all about prayer and doctors.

This is about the ultracons screaming about a person wearing a ring while at the same time turning a blind eye to the poor people in their camp who suffer and die because of their ignorance.

It's common in the ultracon camp to teach that it's a sin to go to the doctor and the poor people in their 'churches' suffered and died because of that. I can take you to the graves of men, women and children who were part of such teachings, this isn't something rare. This isn't some isolated case here and there.

I know of an 'apostolic church' which was one of those...until the pastor's wife was stricken with a life threatening disease, then she went to the doctor. This was after her grandchild died because of the no doctor teachings which was an important part of their sect. I could call names, some here would recognize them, especially the right 'reverend' epley, but I'm not going to do that. When religious doctrines physically harm children, legal action should be taken against those who practices such evil in the name of God, IMO.

So, the ultracons will preach ignorant doctrines which cause suffering and death but the sheeple in their cultic sect will be so brainwashed and brain dead that they think it's somehow God's will that they suffer and die. They're ok with suffering and dying but will look down their long noses of judgment when they see someone wearing a ring. Just shows you how twisted and evil religion can be.

Or scream about a ring while wearing a colored tie or bracelet with a clock on it.
