Re: New "Apostolic" Bible
I believe you can find it by doing a quick Amazin search on "Pharisee Bible".
The "Apostolic Bible" is alarming and saddening. Slipped right down the slope.

Silly goose! They don't mean Apostolic as in the Apostles. They mean apostolic as in their denomination. Huge (and hugely important) difference.
But I agree with you.

Was there a thread on here a few months ago about a new "Apostolic" Bible that was not really a new Bible but just the KJV with Matthew 28:19 changed from "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" to "in my name"?
I seem to remember reading about it but I'm not sure if it was here or on some other forum.
If it was here, could someone give me a link to that thread?
Thank you

the link is www.apostolic-bible.com
There is a Free Gospel of Matthew for those interested in seeing a sample of the Holy Apostolic Bible (HAB).
It has a Jesus Name Appendix with updated information about the Name of Jesus in Matthew 28:19

After you asked this question, Word Aflame Press put out the Apostolic Study Bible, King James Version. I bought a copy and have enjoyed the notes. It seems to be really helpful, and it does not twist the Scriptures or reword anything like that so-called "Apostolic" Bible. The contributors seem to have impressive credentials. But I imagine you have seen this Bible and know all this by now. What did you think of it?

Isn't that the Bible that has in Acts 2:38 "Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit?"

I thought you would like that.
But seriously this past Friday I was in a discussion with a Jehovah Witness who walked up to a Bible study I was conducting. He asked if he could ask questions and I said sure. To make a long story short he ended up telling me that the original New Testament in the book of Acts the titles father, son, and holy spirit in all passages where it said Jesus name. Anyway, he got all flustered when I asked him if the New World Translation was the best English translation? I then asked if the New World Translation straightens everything which was incorrect in other translations to bring it closet to the original? He replied "of course!" I then asked "then why doesn't it say father, son, and holy spirit in Acts 2:38 if that what it said in the original? He then trooped off to join his wandering away group.
