I thought you would like that.
But seriously this past Friday I was in a discussion with a Jehovah Witness who walked up to a Bible study I was conducting. He asked if he could ask questions and I said sure. To make a long story short he ended up telling me that the original New Testament in the book of Acts the titles father, son, and holy spirit in all passages where it said Jesus name. Anyway, he got all flustered when I asked him if the New World Translation was the best English translation? I then asked if the New World Translation straightens everything which was incorrect in other translations to bring it closet to the original? He replied "of course!" I then asked "then why doesn't it say father, son, and holy spirit in
Acts 2:38 if that what it said in the original? He then trooped off to join his wandering away group.
