a google of Fundamental Doctrine as stated in the Articles of Faith as set forth in the Manual of the United Pentecostal Church International, which should also get you there. Quite telling? https://www.google.com/search?q=Fund...hrome&ie=UTF-8

Re: UPCI Affirmation Statement

Technically every member must never have a hotel room with a TV or enter a home of a sinner with a TV or be in eyesight of a TV set at Walmart based on that.

Further if just possessing one in the Home because of what can be seen the Computers and internet also violates the spirit of that " rule"

  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.

Why do y'all care none of you are in the UPC? And they probably wouldn't even give you a license.

Unhelpful, irrelevant, condescending. Yep, sounds right.

Brother Epley, this is where you are wrong. Several of us ARE in the UPC and it bothers us because we see a double standard among the ministry in this area. I have the utmost respect for a minister who teaches against certain issues and he follows them whole-heartedly. But don't have a double standard. The AOF of the UPC states the following under the "Holiness" topic:

We wholeheartedly disapprove of our people indulging in any activities which are not conducive to good Christianity and godly living, such as theaters, dances, mixed bathing or swimming, women cutting their hair, make-up, any apparel that immodestly exposes the body, all worldly sports and amusements, and unwholesome radio programs and music. Furthermore, because of the display of all these evils on television, we disapprove of any of our people having television sets in their homes. We admonish all of our people to refrain from any of these practices in the interest of spiritual progress and the soon coming of the Lord for His church.

The AF states that men will uphold these tenets and teach the same from their pulpits. Why do pastors get to pick and choose which of these they will preach?
