First of all, an "anointing" does not make one the temple of God. Passages referring to us being God's temple are in reference to the new birth, something that could only happen post Calvary.
Secondly, Christ is not indwelt by the Spirit in the same sense we are. Our indwelling is for regeneration due to sin. Jesus had no sin. He was born indwelt by the Spirit, but in a different way. From his conception, all the fulness of the Godhead dwelt in him bodily.

Bump.
And the question is open for anyone to answer, not just renee.

The indwelling of the Spirit makes on a temple of God. Jesus was indwelt with the Spirit of God when He was anointed by His God and Father, God the Father. He was filled with the Spirit.....
Luk 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
By the way, Jesus wasn't full of Himself nor did He lead Himself into the wilderness.

While Jesus was indwelt with the fullness of the Godhead, this wasn't until He was anointed with the Holy Ghost by His God and Father.

Since I already addressed these points, and since nothing you've said here is relevant to the topic, I defer to my previous comments. But I will add one point in regerence to Jesus' infilling of the Spirit....

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

His anointing was not the same as our infilling which is needed for regeneration. But I agree that Jesus is God's temple. All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in him BODILY. While we are stones in God's temple, all the fullness of the Godhead does not dwell in us bodily.

According to scripture, it does...
Luk 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Act 7:55 But he [Stephen], being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
As Stephen was a temple of God so was Jesus...both were full of the Holy Ghost. It's the indwelling of the Holy Ghost, be it in Stephen or Jesus, which makes us a temple.
1Co 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17 If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.
I'm not sure what you're trying to suggest with your view that "Christ is not indwelt by the Spirit in the same sense we are". There may be a different working of that indwelling Spirit, but we are indwelt with the Holy Ghost just as Jesus was. Jesus contrasted that with those who did not have the Holy Ghost dwelling in them....
Mat 23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

Well, you didn't address the scriptures I posted, but let's continue. What is missing in us?

Here's how I address the scriptures you cited......
You are quoting them out of context. Stephen was full of the Spirit, or Spirit filled. Stephen is not the bodily form of God. Jesus is.
Secondly, we are indwelt by the Spirit to save and regenerate us. Did Jesus need saving and regeneration?

Yes, Stephen was full of the Spirit, but Jesus was also. They were full of the same Spirit of God. Both were Spirit filled. Stephen wasn't filled with a different Holy Ghost than Jesus.
I ask again, what indwelled Jesus that doesn't indwell us? What's missing in us? We have the same Holy Ghost that Jesus had....what else indwells us from God other than the Holy Ghost?

It is not a matter of what indwelt Jesus that that does not indwell us but rather it is WHO Jesus was and is and WHO we are not nor ever will be.
