I suggest you Google origins of Christmas.

I think it's the origins and the whole "christmas" spirit that accompanies it ever year. I think people just plainly see it as a heathen worship, not being Godly in anyway, no mater how much people try to make it sound like it is so, and see no reason to participate, or have their name associated with such. I think people have strong convictions on what they believe to be false doctrine. For an example, to them it's the same as facilitating a gay marriage who happen to call themselves a christian. Of course people would call that an oxymoron, and say that gays can't be christian because it's an abomination, etc., well... people feel the same about what they believe to be pagan holidays, such as Christmas, Easter and what have you.

*sighs* Like I said, it's not just the origins, it's the whole attitude, atmosphere, and going ons associated with it. When people ask me what I'm doing for christmas, I usually just plainly say, "I'm not planning on doing anything," Then they'll ask why, "And I'll just say I don't celebrate it," some will understand right away, and others will act as if I have three heads coming out of my shoulders, exclaiming away, "But it's the birth of Christ!!" all the while denouncing and slandering Christ's name all year long, but no we can't do that on Christmas, because it's not the right "Christmas spirit" to have. Anyway, in my post, I was just explaining why some people have such a negative feeling towards Christmas.

Birthdays - while nothing is commanded in Scripture about celebrating (or not celebrating) birthdays, some do have a conviction about it.

Wedding anniversaries - never heard anyone who doesn't do the wedding anniversary thing unless their marriage is on the rocks! lol

Memorial Day - secular holiday.
Labour day - secular (communist) holiday.
4th of July - secular holiday.
Valentines day - pagan festival (Lupercalia) 'christianised' by some supposed connection to the Roman Catholic Saint Valentinus. The Lupercalia was originally a fertility festival devoted to fornication. The famous 'heart' design so common and especially associated with this day is not in fact a heart (looks nothing like a human heart) but is in fact a representation of a 'matrix' (ie a womb). Every tradition associated with Valentine's Day has its origins in pagan fertility festivals associated with the Lupercalia or related pagan holy days. They are thus the traditions of demon worship and immorality.

Thanksgiving - technically a pseudo-religious holiday, although it has become extremely secularised. Also, the day is often not about giving thanks to God anymore, but more about gluttony and slothfulness (except for the poor women who have to do so much cooking for their usually unthankful husbands lol). In any event, with the exception of Valentine's Day and possibly Labor Day, all those days are secular, not HOLY days, not devoted to worship, not a holdover of rites of pagan demon worship, and therefore not in the same category as Christ's Mass (aka Nimrod's birthday, birthday of Sol Invictus or Mithra or some other dying Sun god, etc).
