Agreed.

So you need to have the gift of faith to be able to believe that God will heal you in certain, or even dire situations?

Re: Mental Illness Revisited...
While I don't agree that drugs are the answer to anything and everything, some need them while others seek them.
I have a son who has a high probability of becoming schizophrenic due to his genetic disorder. He is currently not on medication and we won't claim it, however, we can't help but watch his behaviors and hope for the best in his future.

Re: Mental Illness Revisited...
I believe that we are tri-part beings. We have a body (biological form), soul (mind/psyche), and spirit (living essence). Problems can exist in any one of these parts and thereby affect the others. For example, someone with a genetic or chemical imbalance in the brain has a problem in the "body". However, this also affects the "soul" (or mind). Fixing this can be an issue of diet, medication, or divine healing. Problems rooted in the "soul" (mind) can be resolved through counseling and renewing the mind in accordance to Scripture. Divine healing is also affective for the mind when employed. The disposition of the body and/or the soul can greatly affect the wellbeing of the spirit, though it doesn't alter or change the spirit.
That's my take on it.

No sir. My son has a rare genetic condition that's only recorded in about 100 individuals. I will PM you with the info if you like.

Not what I said. I said 'and that often requires' etc etc.
Not 'and that always requires' etc etc.
