Yeah, but where is it told in the bible for anyone to go to Luke other than to God, or even go to Luke if God doesn't answer in a certain amount of time.

Re: No Doctors Doctrine?

So when a Christian loses their health insurance, what do they do then?

No doubt father Abraham hoped for the same thing....that Isaac would barely suffer if Abe could work his knife quickly enough. (Oh, but that's different, huh?)

Yes, I do believe in divine healing, for when the doctors gave up on my daughter, I turned to the Lord for healing and he did healed my daughter.

Abraham was directly told by God to do something, as a test.
nowhere else has God told anyone else to do the same thing.

There is no need to let children die, when there are doctors and medicine available.

So believing, praying and trusting in God is equated with doing nothing and letting your child die? What an atheist thing to say....

Re: No Doctors Doctrine?

Paul didn't tell Timothy to pray for healing when Timothy was having stomach problems. Paul say to drink some wine. Not a doctor, but a good remedy.

Re: No Doctors Doctrine?

One of the dumbest thing I hear is pray for God's will to be done to heal my disease. Then they go to doctors. Do they really want " God's Will "?

Okay, and is not James 5:14-15 to be regarded as God directly telling you what to do?

(As well as a promise of results?)
