Re: Apostolic Music

It has been a little while since I have been to a UPCI church but from what I remember the music is always is on 10 and the piano player and the drummer totally rip off Jerry Lee Lewis!

"Glorious" is not the word that comes to mind when listening to that song.

Odd that y'all would sing a trinitarians song and have the Spirit move, seeing as how in your mind all trinitarians are lost. Seems a bit inconsistent to me.

HANK WILLIAMS LYRICS

"I Saw The Light"

I wandered so aimless life filled with sin
I wouldn't let my dear saviour in
Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night
Praise the Lord I saw the light.

I saw the light I saw the light
No more darkness no more night
Now I'm so happy no sorrow in sight
Praise the Lord I saw the light.

Just like a blind man I wandered along
Worries and fears I claimed for my own
Then like the blind man that God gave back his sight
Praise the Lord I saw the light.

I saw the light I saw the light
No more darkness no more night
Now I'm so happy no sorrow in sight
Praise the Lord I saw the light.

I was a fool to wander and a-stray
Straight is the gate and narrow the way
Now I have traded the wrong for the right
Praise the Lord I saw the light.

I saw the light I saw the light
No more darkness no more night
Now I'm so happy no sorrow in sight
Praise the Lord I saw the light.

Re: Apostolic Music

I have asked someone to put up what they consider to be good Apostolic music. I am taking for granted the 2 that have been posted were done in a joking manner.

Now bring the TRUE Apostolic music that some are so fond of. If its that good turn some of us onto it. I mean if its more deeply spiritual than the Charismatic/Messianic style I like I would want to add it to my listening/worshipping time.
