Neither UPCI or A/G are 100% on point on everything, but at least you know what to expect from them and they're more correct than the UPCI when it comes to salvation.

If I had to choose between UPC and AG, I'd go back to a UPC way before AG.

Re: It is now official
To be fair to my District Superintendent, he has on two separate occasions graciously paid the national dues for me. When I attended his church he paid the district dues of all the ministers on his staff every month. But I no longer attend his church and I simply am tired of being "needy". When I got behind this time I asked the Lord that if he wanted me licensed with this organization to confirm it by providing a way to pay the dues without me having to tell anyone I was struggling. That did not happen and I'm moving on.

(1) Please explain as I feel this way about the UPCI, not the A/G.

Jesus taught ONE experience with the Holy Ghost from John 3 to Acts 1, not two or three. The apostles never taught anyone to first get "saved" and then later to receive the Holy Ghost baptism as a separate and distinct work which follows the birth of the Spirit. They are one and the same.
Furthermore, few in the AoG are even being taught to receive the Spirit baptism. They still have it in their doctrine but not in common practice.

I understand what you are saying, but I was at the Pen-District office with my wife and tongues of fire were falling in a morning prayer and meeting we were part of. The district leadership is still preaching Holy Ghost Baptism. I have been part of about 4 churches since my departure from the UPCI and if I had not known better I would have thought I was in a UPC church with the move of the Spirit. I promise you it is not dead.

I received word from the District office today that national headquarters reports to them that my license is now lapsed because I did not pay dues for this quarter. They were writing to inquire if I would like to begin the process for reinstatement. I will be writing the District Superintendent this week to kindly decline any offer of reinstatement.
I am Pentecostal to the core. I love all the major Pentecostal organizations but simply cannot in good conscience sign an affirmation of agreement with any of them. I'm not intentionally trying to be "different" but I am nevertheless.
Please pray for us that we keep a right spirit and attitude before God, and for his blessed will in our lives. Thank you.

Keep your eyes on the Lord Jesus. Don't let your heart be tormented by the failings of men. We really are all failures. When we come to the end of ourselves, and realize all we have is Jesus,it is then that we can truly walk in the power of the kingdom afforded to us. Will be praying for you and your family!

Originalist, I hate to see you leave the UPC, but I'm encouraged by your posts on this thread. I will pray for you.
