My husband has grown out a beard off and on, but usually shaves it because it is more work to keep a beard, in his opinion, than to just shave it all off.

I truly love No Shave November. However, over the weekend I decided to allow my lady love to shave my beard and cut my hair. I was starting to look "too rugged" according to her. Now, my beard and mustache is trimmed slightly longer than a five-o-clock shadow and my hair is back in style. lol

whenever I grow a beard it gets blotchy, some areas have more hair than others and my face looks horrible since most of the hair grows on the neck.

Seriously though, some guys just don't grow beards well. You can always sport a mustache or a goatee.
