I thank God we aren't having this discussion in person because right about now you would be cursing like Popeye.
No insults Sean, just an observation of how you dodge and never seem to explain anything that you believe. By just posting verses without explanation isn't "teaching." Nor is it refuting. You might not know this, so someone needs to come to you and tell you all of this. Your credibility is pretty much shot as far as eschatology goes, and it is repeatedly told to you in posts. Yet, in your mind you have convinced yourself that you have trumped all the posters who believe differently from you. You constantly flog a dead horse by repeating yourself on issues which Brother Blume and others have answered you, and have moved on to other subjects. I said all that to say this, what you are really doing is not doing a very good job defending your position, because you don't know as much as your opponents. Therefore you are losing your credibility.
I totally understand that you don't care about this and will continue your Tom Foolery to continue to entertain all of us.

22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
This passage clearly denotes an existing heavenly city of Jerusalem that we come to.
This is what the preterist thinks it says here...
22 But (ye have become) mount Sion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
This is how they change the meaning of the scripture without you realizing it.
So, you are saying that this is a future event which everyone who was ever saved will be living in a physical city all on Mount Zion? Do you have any idea how the early Judeans understood the image of Mount Zion? To be brief, could you explain to us (since we are the midgets and you are the eschatology giant) where in the Bible does it say that all the saved people (everyone who was ever saved since the beginning) will be contained in the physical city of Jerusalem which is located in the physical Middle East?

Now, once again, you're not answering me. How can we have COME TO IT if it's not even down on earth yet and still needs to come to earth from heaven?
Excellent point my brother.
αλλά προσεληλύθατε Σιών όρει και πόλει θεού ζώντος Ιερουσαλήμ επουρανίω και μυριάσιν αγγέλων
The above selection of scripture verse isn't speaking of something in the future for the readers. It says αλλά προσεληλύθατε Σιών όρει, it literally says that the reader has already entered the Zion Mountain. Nothing futuristic is ever implied by the writer of Hebrews.

A very valid point! We will all be living on this one mountain.

Exactly, and in Revelation 7:9όχλος πολύς means an immense throng . This huge group cannot be "counted" by anyone. Since Sean mocks those who take certain scriptures and sees them symbolic, and beats his chest declaring himself the sighted guide for eschatology, he then needs to explain with scripture how myriads of physical angels, 144,000 Israelites , and a infinite throng of people (which cannot be counted by any man) will all live within the walls of a physical city.

in any case, we are here until the Good Lord gets tired of hearing it....
even if you believe it happened in 70AD!
Love you my brother!

Because Paul, in 1 Cor. 15:52 and 1 Thes 4:16, said believers would be raptured at the sounding of a trump, many folks have tried to make it appear that the rapture trumps are the same trumpets found in Revelation 11:15-18, Joel 2:1, and Mat 24:31--which all occur during the tribulation.
I don't pretend to be one of those who likes to take verses, rearrange them, and make it all nice and overly complicated. I like it kind of simple, but...
I honestly could not really read much past this section because I see here that he makes mention of Matthew 24:31, yet ignores half of the verse. The entirety of it reads:
Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Why would this guy completely ignore the part where the angels would "gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other"?
Is it because it is "immediately after the tribulation of those days"?

i would just like him to point out the pre-trib rapture in Matthew 24.
