So I'm not sure which point Mr Wilkerson was making, but as long as it's not the one where all Muslims, or Whomever--pick the group--are hopelessly deceived and going to hell, and he knows how to "help" them, then i say amen.

amen there. Scripture reveals a person's premises, whether they want it to or not.

wadr, you had a chance to chime in, along with every other OP who read this, back @ "i see your pov is a widely held one." That pov being that all Muslims are of course lost and going to hell for lack of the OP magic words. While they are just the target of easiest opportunity, most any OP would agree that Trinnys, Baptists, Catholics, and definitely Mormons are all hopelessly lost, too. Nevermind about all that God judging the heart stuff; that must needs be taken in context

Now surely many, even most OPs don't ascribe to this twisted version of Grace--at least not openly. But it is just as hypocritical to keep mum, when one is so invested--be it unconsciously, which is the norm, or not--in selling arms to them; or voting for the arms dealers. I am not sad to say that the best OPs i have met all seemed to be former OPs, with a few notable exceptions, Lee Stoneking unfortunately not among them.

"Mooslums r all agoin ta hail" is fine, but my "hell" is over the line. I'm ok with that.

Of course they're lost. If you question that then you do not believe in the necessity of the work of the cross for salvation. We're not saved by good works.

If you're okay with that, coupled with your apparent opinion that the work of the cross is not necessary, then your words make very much sense since they are certainly akin to someone who does not believe in the work of the cross for salvation. So why are you here?

I am not condoning any bad spirits of those who claim to be Christians. But it is a basic 101 issue that those who reject Christ's work of the cross as VITAL for salvation are LOST, period. That's not a bad attitude. That's just bible.

Whatever. If OPs go to heaven, please send me to hell.

oh, my, indeed. All of them, or just Muslims...or whom, exactly? Everyone who does not believe like you do, let's be honest. You can even prove it, from Scripture, right? I'll stand by my post, thanks, which never denied any work of the Cross.

Well, that was easy to understand.

Okay, so he claims the intent was not to deceive...

I'm still trying to wrap my head around what he was actually attempting when he posted a picture simply labeled "service" in a discussion about his ministry at the UN and allowed that picture and caption to be the only photo on his social media account for weeks or months related to his services at the UN.

Maybe you can help here because I can't understand what he could have been attempting by not originally being upfront about that picture not being of his service?

Art Wilson posted a picture of the chapel because many was asking to see what it looked like... No more news for almost a year because he never wanted to draw much attention to it, people kept asking him to post updates and he wouldn't because he wanted to clear that with all those that attended the service ... there was lots of talk about protecting peoples privacy to worship .. many were from other countries and religions, they were at the UN to work and represent their interests (its a place of business) both meetings are held during lunch time..

He even gave his selection to speak at the UN GA to Stoneking. Many was shocked when did that.. He's not what has been painted here and other places... He posted apologies on twitter.. He admitted it wasn't wise and clarified that point on each picture...

Im with WII on this --- that we can move on

I'm with you up to a point but:

I still can't understand what he could have been attempting by not originally being upfront about that picture not being of his service?
