Good comment. Nor should it be equated to the law of God

- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I've seen far too many women following the general rules, but breaking them in spirit... with their attitude, and with their ways of walking, speaking, and living.
Simply said - a dress covering a woman from head to toe does not guarantee that she is dressed modest. Not at all. If her spirit desires to act seductively, a dress will not cover that seducing spirit up.
So... while I think women should cover up, should cover their body parts in a dignified way... the real issue at the bottom of this discussion is the heart. If the heart does not desire to be modest and holy in spirit and dress... it doesn't matter what piece of clothing is worn.... or not worn... the seducing spirit will overtake it all.
Modesty is truly an issue of the heart.

Very true. I have seen a lot of young ladies dressed in dresses/skirts that were not all that modest to me.

Praxeas, does Christianity have it's own culture, or is our faith superimposed with any culture it encounters ?? Christianity is like medicine for a sick culture. I don't think it has a culture of its own.
Ar we sharing our faith, or our subculture ??

How true, saw an advertisement by a Pentecostal women for a jeans skirt the other day. While the skirt was long enough to touch the floor, she was wearing a skin tight tea shirt type blouse that left nothing to the imagination of the upper body, this is holiness?

It's showiness. Or, as far as clothing goes, show-me-less.
