Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Forums die when they lose their diversity. When rules are enforced to weed out those who differ and everyone pretty much agrees, the forum dies. Point and counterpoint is what makes a forum interesting.

Agreed.
However, admin not enforcing basic rules of civility led to some from both camps leaving here.
By the way, this is not aimed at current admin, in any way.

Very honestly DA nearly single handed destroyed this forum. We pleaded with admins at that time to curb him. So the majority of Apostolics left. The void then was filled with folks who are either ex Apostolcs or not Apostolics. We had healthy respectful discussions on FCF and even the early days of AFF. But it changed. Ever so often I might comment but it is not interesting to me. I made friends on FCF that are forum friends today. This forum is not very Apostolic friendly just saying.
