That is what has happened at Fort Worth with the beforementioned church.
It has adultery running rampant.
The young people have fornication running through the youth group.
Did not happen when the Elder P was there.
Somewhere the door was opened .

I call bull. I was raised UPC and fornication happened in conservative churches probably more so than liberal ones because that is all the young people had to do since they couldn't go skating, bowling, to ball games, etc.
If a church being conservative makes it have less sexual sin then explain Jordan Young and the Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Kansas. One of the most conservative (and controlling) churches ever.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

For the record CC that would most likely be a 351 unless somebody put the chevy motor in the truck.

Bro, you need to free yourself of this burden.
Man, go buy a three wheel Goldwing or Harley and get back to riding. Do something! Jimmy Swaggart, liberal or ultra conservative? Jim Bakker, liberal or conservative? Earl Paulk, liberal or conservative? Ted Haggard, liberal or conservative? Eddie Long, liberal or conservative? Roman Catholic priests raping children? Liberal or conservative?
Bro, you think because a guy teaches his church family to abstain from playing jacks it causes him to molest children, commit adultery, or look at porn?
CC1, are you Lois?

CC1, I think you are so use to slamming "Old Time Pentecost" and Conservative Pentecost you are missing something called Snakes in Suits, I suggest you buy the book and read the book. PLEASE. Pretty please with liberal on top? Also read the Allure of Toxic Leaders, and Mistakes Were Made, But Not By Me.
Bro, it is like you have some sort of Pentecostal PTSD, and find it's your mission (like Lois) to broad brush a whole group. Dude, not everyone forces people to do what they do. Even the guys who are heavy handed love their wives, love their children, love their church family. Never even think of anything nasty.
I must say this, forums have taught me one special lesson. Ring a bell, and the dog will salivate.
Thank you Brother Jim Yohe for the invite years ago.

It may be a 302 (5.0L). Ford 1/2 ton trucks from the late 80's to 90's had more 5.0's I believe. Chevy v8's are 350 and 305 those years. We want to automotively correct. lol.

Re: Terry Shock Leaving Alexandria
I think if there has been error it has not been on teaching holiness and conservatism. I understand just because people abide the rules doesn't make them holy. I think sometimes we may have failed to emphasize the inward holiness as much as we should though.
